One year ago today I began one of the most stressful days of my life. I had to fake a family emergency at work because the customs broker, lost my car, didn’t provide the delivery driver the required info to release the car, and was completely unavailable during crunch time. So I was on the phone all day working this out in my office with the door shut.

I will link some of the posts below, but finally around 7:3o PM the driver showed up with my car barely on the truck! The rest is history

13 years ago on Monday, 22 year old Tripper pulled the trigger on an E46M3.

Here they both are:

Your 1502 is amazing and I’m very happy to hear about it regularly, but we really need to hear more about that spectacular E46 if I may suggest. Get out and drive it more!

It really deserves better. What I need to do is go and park the 02 at my parents and keep the M3 at my house for a while. The 44 year old car really ought to be in a real garage during the nasty months instead of my “car tent”.

I’ll report back when I’ve completed my homework.

Wow time flies.

Still a gorgeous car.

Excellent plan - sounds like a great new years resolution. Just add a column to your spreadsheet on miles you’ve run (think that was you?) - miles the M3 was driven. I promise it’ll increase your level of happiness (I have a horrible time motivating myself to run as well).
